Benefit Management Inc., located in Great Bend, Kansas with offices in Overland Park, Kansas, provides customized, high-quality health benefits administration programs to self-insured companies, association plans and to state and federal high risk pools nationwide. Founded in 1995, BMI has more than sixteen years of experience and we've become one of the Midwest’s leading third party administrators (TPAs), with a reputation for flexibility, innovative services, outstanding customer service, and other unique advantages.
We currently administer benefits for 75,000 lives nationwide. Our self-insured clients range from small employers with a single location to national employers with multiple work sites across the country. We are also recognized as the leading TPA for state and federal high risk pool administration serving Kansas, Iowa, Alaska, Washington and New Hampshire.
Benefit Management Inc. has successfully completed a SAS 70 Type II audit, enabling us to provide our clients with a comprehensive, independent auditor's report describing our internal controls, their design and operating effectiveness for the period under review.
Company History
Benefit Management, Inc. (BMI) has been providing Third Party Administration services since 1995. Our President Dennis A. Call, CLU, LUTCF, marketed and serviced Partial Self-Funded plans as an independent agent for 20 years prior to starting BMI.
In 1972 Dennis made his start in the insurance industry. Over the next 25 years he worked as an agent selling group health and life insurance products throughout the Midwest. A large number of his group accounts were partially self-funded, as the value of the concept was embraced. After 20 years of utilizing other insurance companies Mr. Call formed Benefit Management, Inc as a third party administrator specializing in group health and dental benefits on the premise that he could provide a better service at a better price.
